The Football for Good Fund – #9IAR Challenge

Celebrate 9, Nominate 9, Donate 9 for the Football for Good Fund

August 05, 2020 to Present

In celebration of the Club’s incredible 9-in-a-row achievement, Celtic FC Foundation are asking supporters throughout the world to join in and Celebrate 9, Nominate 9, Donate 9.

– Take on your own #9IAR challenge by doing any activity you wish relating to the number 9. Whether it’s attempting to do 9 keepie-uppies, walking 9 laps of your garden or cycling 9km on your bike, the challenge is open to supporters of all ages and you can be as creative as you wish.

– Tag Celtic FC Foundation on social media with a video or photo of you completing your challenge and nominate up to 9 fellow Celts to take on their own challenge.

– Then simply donate £9 (or whatever you can afford) in support of our Football for Good Fund HERE .

Celtic captain, Scott Brown kicked off the initiative on August 5 with his own take on the ‘Maradona 7’ by completing the ‘Broony 9’.

Star of film and TV, Martin Compston followed this up by attempting to do 9 keepie-uppies while blindfolded and then nominated fellow actors, Gianni Capaldi and Tony Curran, who both took on the challenge in an attempt to beat Martin’s effort.

Former Celts, Stiliyan Petrov, Simon Donnelly and Tom Boyd also joined in on the fun, with both Stiliyan and Simon completing 9km runs, while Tom took on an 81km (9×9) cycle.

Individuals, families and Celtic Supporters’ Clubs throughout the world have taken on a host of wonderful #9IAR challenges and Celtic FC Foundation are extremely grateful for your fantastic support. But there is still plenty of time to get involved and help raise money for a great cause!
