Youngsters have chance to design new Foundation Charity badge

AS the 2015/16 SPFL title race heats up, plans are underway for Celtic FC Foundation’s annual Charity Badge Day – and YOU can be part of it.

In association with our Supporters’ Committee, we are calling on budding young artists between the ages of seven and 16, to design a badge for our traditional matchday collection at a home match in May.

To enter the competition, please:

  1. Get permission from your parent or guardian, complete the entry form (and ensure you read the terms and conditions) provided HERE

  2. Return this completed entry form to the address provided, together with

    (a) a drawing of your design for the new Celtic FC Foundation badge, within either the circular or square template provided – please download the template HERE

    (b) a short note explaining how and why you came up with your design

The deadline for entries is 5pm on Monday, March 21, 2016 and the winner will be announced shortly after the closing date.

The winner will be chosen by our Supporters’ Committee, with details to follow of a very special guest on the judging panel.

Proceeds from Badge Day will support Celtic FC Foundation’s ongoing projects around our four key themes of improving Health, promoting Equality, encouraging Learning and tackling Poverty.

On our first ever badge design competition, Celtic FC Foundation CEO, Tony Hamilton, said: “This competition represents a fantastic opportunity for one of our younger supporters to help the Foundation and show off their creative flair.

“I’d like to wish all of the participants the very best of luck, and express my gratitude to our Supporters’ Committee for their pivotal role in Badge Day and numerous other events throughout year.

“With each passing year, Badge Day sees tremendous generosity from our fans and I’d like to thank them once again for their continued support.”
