CELTIC FC Foundation’s 2016 fundraising calendar is now firmly underway and we are delighted to announce details of this year’s Great Scottish Run.
Taking place in Glasgow on October 1 and October 2, the annual event allows participants to choose from either a 10k or half-marathon race.
Runners will set off from George Square on a route that encompasses some of the city’s most spectacular sights – including a stunning view of Celtic Park from the Kingston Bridge – before finishing in the leafy surroundings of Glasgow Green.
Proceeds raised from this event will go towards furthering our ongoing initiatives within our key priority areas of Health, Equality, Learning and Poverty (HELP).
We will assist you every step of the way and all participants will receive a fundraising pack including sponsor form and guidance to set up an online fundraising page as well an official Celtic FC Foundation t-shirt.
The main event includes:
10k (entry fee £26)
Half-Marathon (entry fee £33)
The two-day event also includes a family day on Saturday, October 1:
Toddler Dash (0-5years): 100m (entry is free)
Junior Run (9-15years): 2.5k (entry fee £7)
Family Mile (3-8years): 1 mile (entry fee adults/children £7)
