ONCE again we’re encouraging supporters to don their Celtic tartan and raise money for Celtic FC Foundation by taking part in one of this year’s Kiltwalk events.
The Kiltwalk, which was formed to help some of Scotland’s bravest children, has grown to support all kinds of charities throughout Scotland and in 2018 – thanks to the support of The Hunter Foundation – all funds raised by Kiltwalkers will be topped up by 40 per cent.
With events across the country and a variety of distances to choose from, there are plenty of opportunities to take part.
If the 23-mile ‘Mighty Stride’ seems too daunting, participants can also opt for ‘The Big Stroll’ which takes in a 15-mile walk. Alternatively, ‘The Wee Wander’ is a six-mile walk, ideal for the whole family.
The dates for this year’s upcoming Kiltwalk events are:
Glasgow – Sunday, April 29
Aberdeen – Sunday, June 3
Dundee – Sunday, August 19
Edinburgh – Sunday, September 16
To register and raise funds for Celtic FC Foundation please visit http://www.thekiltwalk.co.uk/
Simply choose which location and walk you would like to take part in (The Mighty Stride, The Big Stroll, The Wee Wander) and select Celtic FC Foundation as the beneficiary of your efforts.
A Walker’s Pack will be sent by Kiltwalk and they will collate and manage all fundraising. However, 140 per cent of the monies you raise will then be donated to Celtic FC Foundation.
Following registration, please make sure you contact us on 0141 551 4204 or email [email protected] for a Celtic FC Foundation t-shirt.
