Supporters’ clubs backing the work of Celtic FC Foundation

CELTIC FC Foundation are delighted to be the recipient of a generous donation from the Scottish Civil Service CSC and Heriot Watt University CSC’s Spring Dinner, 2016.

The dinner, hosted in the Number 7 Restaurant at Celtic Park in April, was attended by over 100 supporters including by Club Ambassador and Celtic FC Foundation supporter, Tom Boyd.

The evening saw a fantastic £2,400 raised though the auction and raffle, all of which will be donated towards the Foundation’s community work addressing the areas of Health, Equality, Learning and Poverty.

Celtic FC Foundation Chief Executive, Tony Hamilton, was on hand at Celtic Park before the game against Kilmarnock to offer thanks and receive the official cheque presentation from the Scottish Civil Service CSC representative Uriel Jamieson, who said; “We’re delighted to make this donation to the Foundation on behalf of our members. Each year we think very carefully about our chosen Charity.

“This year we could think of no better charity than Celtic FC Foundation who do such fantastic work across a wide range of initiatives at home and abroad helping those who are less fortunate and need and deserve support.”

Celtic FC Foundation CEO, Tony Hamilton, added: “We had a great night a few months back and this is a fantastic outcome from it. I’m very grateful to have been asked along to say a few words and for the generosity and kindness Celtic FC Foundation was shown.”
