IN the lead up to the club’s 130th Anniversary on November 6, Celtic FC Foundation are calling on supporters to join the Hail Hail Trail and walk 130 miles over the course of six weeks for charity.
The Hail Hail Trail is a walking challenge which celebrates our magnificent history and is open to supporters across the globe.
Participants can upload their distances and record progress via a dedicated webpage or app.
Averaging at just over three miles per day, participants can clock up their mileage during their everyday lives, whether it be going for a morning stroll, taking the dog for a walk or striding up towards Celtic Park on a matchday. How and where you wish to walk your 130 miles is completely up to you.
The 130-mile Trail will celebrate the four trebles achieved in Celtic’s history, with key milestones highlighted along the way; via the website or app. Throughout your six-week journey you will reach 12 different distance milestones. When each milestone is reached, you will receive a notification providing a photo and narrative from the respective trophy triumph.
Registration is now open and you can sign up HERE. You must be 13 years of age or over on Tuesday, September 26 in order to take part and participants under-18 years of age will need to have consent/approval from their parent or legal guardian.
Upon registration you will receive further information on how to record your Hail Hail Trailprogress via the website and apps.
The non-refundable registration fee is £15 per person. Please ensure you read the TERMS AND CONDITIONS thoroughly before registering.
To participate in the Hail Hail Trail, all we ask is that you commit to raising a minimum of £130 (after entry fee) for Celtic FC Foundation. We will provide a sponsorship pack and all participants will receive a Hail Hail Trail wristband on completion of the challenge.
Participants will begin recording their progress along the Hail Hail Trail from Tuesday, September 26 and the challenge will end on Monday, November 6.
All funds raised from the Hail Hail Trail will be devoted to our 2017 Christmas Appeal which reflects the very essence of why our club was set up back in 1887. We are looking to assist a host of local families and pensioners facing poverty and hardship and a number of charities who care for those experiencing the torment of homelessness or other disadvantage. Thanks to your help we can ensure that they’ll never walk alone.
As well as paying tribute to Celtic’s founding principles and historic achievements, the Hail Hail Trailwill also acknowledge one of Celtic FC Foundation’s core values: improving HEALTH.
