Plough Bhoys to Run Philly Marathon for Celtic FC Foundation

ON the weekend of November 18 and 19, four members of the 2nd Street Plough Bhoys Celtic Supporters’ Club of Philadelphia, will lace up their running shoes to raise funds for Celtic FC Foundation.

Long-time Celtic supporters and Philadelphia natives Seamus Cummins, Rory Flynn and Tim McCloskey will run the annual Philadelphia Marathon on November 19, while Dublin native and fellow Hoops fan Sean O’Farrell, will run the Philly Half Marathon on November 18.

The four Bhoys wanted to do something special to mark their Supporters’ Club’s fifth anniversary and chose to help raise funds for Celtic FC Foundation.

All funds will go towards the 67 Kitchens initiative, as part of the Foundation’s Lions’ Legacy project, with the name of the Plough Bhoys CSC then being proudly displayed on one of the 67 Kitchens.
