Paradise to Cardenden Cycle 2015

CELTIC FC Foundation are delighted to announce the launch of the 2015 Paradise to Cardenden Cycle event.

The event commemorates the passing of legendary Celtic goalkeeper John Thomson and this year, the cycle will take place on the 84th anniversary of his death on Saturday, September 5, 2015, with participants paying their respects by laying a wreath at his graveside, on arrival in Cardenden.

Cyclists will start their 64-mile journey from Celtic Park in the morning before arriving in Cardenden, Fife – at the gravestone of John Thomson – in the afternoon.

Celtic FC Foundation ask that you commit to raising a minimum of £125 (after registration fee).

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The closing date to register is Friday, August 7, 2015. The non-refundable registration fee is £15 per person.

Not a cyclist but looking to help out?

We’re looking for volunteers to help steward/marshall this event along the proposed route throughout the day. No experience is necessary and you will be provided with briefing instructions before the event.
