Local School Kids Treated to Special Christmas Party in Paradise

AS part of their 2016 Christmas Appeal, Celtic FC Foundation were delighted to stage a fantastic Celtic Park Christmas Party for around 200 children today (Wednesday) from four local schools.

Kids from Saracen Primary School, St Teresa’s Primary School, St Mungo’s Primary School and Keppoch Nursery School all visited the stadium.

The festive extravaganza kicked off with a special visit to the Celtic Park Boardroom and the pupils were then given the chance to walk down the famous tunnel in Paradise and treated to a wonderful party in the Kerrydale Suite.

Celtic stars Mikael Lustig and Nir Bitton also kindly gave up their time to meet the children.

Celtic FC Foundation Chief Executive Tony Hamilton said: “Once again, we are delighted to stage this party for kids from a number of local schools. They had a magnificent day and it is great that Mikael and Nir came to meet the children and support the work of Celtic FC Foundation.

“We were able to stage today’s event following the success of our Christmas Appeal and I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to making this year’s effort such a success.”
