Lisbon Lions visit Glasgow’s new Hospice

THIS week, Celtic FC Foundation were honoured to accompany John Clark, Bobby Lennox and Jim Craig to visit the new Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, in Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park.

Following the success of the #LionsLegacy fundraising campaign in May 2017, a portion of funds raised were allocated to the building of a Garden Room at Glasgow’s new Hospice.

The Lisbon Lions – pictured above with Heather Manson, Director of Fundraising at the Hospice and Tony Hamilton, Chief Executive of Celtic FC Foundation – were very proud to witness the completion of the facility, which offer a valuable relaxation space for patients.

Situated on the corner of the main building, the Garden Room effectively brings nature indoors, offering a light filled recreational space for patients to enjoy activities such as gardening and reading, or time spent with family and friends.

Offering a tranquil and calming environment, the facility overlooks extensive gardens, and opens to a terrace and a hive of activity in the surrounding area.
