Jock Stein charity match guard of honour places now available

THE Jock Stein 30th Anniversary Charity Match, sponsored by Direct Slating Supplies, will take place at East End Park on Sunday, September 6, 2015 (KO 2pm) to honour the legend of all legends, around the 30th anniversary of his passing.

The Celtic Legends vs Dunfermline Legends encounter will benefit the charities of both clubs.

Celtic FC Foundation are now offering a fantastic opportunity for 10 youngsters (recommended age 5-12years) to take part in the official Guard of Honour to welcome both squads on to the park.

The Guards will meet in East End Park’s Rennie Suite at 12.45pm prior to kick-off and enjoy free refreshments before being presented with their warm-up t-shirts, replicas of those worn by the players on the day.

They will then be escorted trackside before collecting their flags and heading down the players’ tunnel. Once there, they will soak up the atmosphere for a few minutes before heading on to the pitch, ready to welcome both teams.

This unique experience allows the youngsters to step on to the pitch at East End Park just before kick-off to represent their Celtic heroes.

The young Guards and their accompanying adults/parents will then take their seats in the stand to enjoy the game and the day’s celebrations.

The Guard of Honour promises to create a memorable day in any young Celtic fan’s life.

Places are available to purchase from Celtic FC Foundation’s official eBay page at the “Buy it now” price of £75.00. Please click HERE

The package also includes three match tickets – one for the Guard and two for accompanying adults.

Net proceeds will be split equally between the Pars Foundation (charity number SC043970) and Celtic FC Foundation (a registered Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation, number SC024648).
