Celtic FC Foundation’s The H.E.L.P. Pilgrimage: Humble Beginnings

INTEREST in Celtic FC Foundation’s The H.E.L.P. Pilgrimage is steadily building – and it’s not your typical stroll down memory lane.

Taking place on Bank Holiday Monday, May 30, The H.E.L.P. Pilgrimage features a 17-mile sponsored walk, encompassing four historical Celtic sites and honouring four legendary figures in the club’s history at each respective venue – all under our banner of Health, Equality, Learning and Poverty.

Registration is now open and you can sign up HERE

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The non-refundable registration fee is £20 per person. Please ensure you read the TERMS AND CONDITIONS thoroughly before registering*.

To participate in the 2016 H.E.L.P Pilgrimage, all we ask is that you commit to raising a minimum of £125 (after entry fee) for Celtic FC Foundation.

The 17-mile adventure begins on Glasgow’s Abercromby Street, setting off from the site of the club’s origins at St Mary’s Church and here, participants will honour Celtic legend and a favourite son of the Calton, Tommy Burns.

As well as paying tribute to Celtic’s Humble Beginnings, this portion of The H.E.L.P. Pilgrimage will also acknowledge one of Celtic FC Foundation’s core values, improving HEALTH.

Participants will then begin their historic trek, journeying towards the others sites of The H.E.L.P. Pilgrimage including Barrowfield Training Centre (East End), Jimmy Johnstone’s Memorial Statue in Viewpark (Legendary Figures) before finally arriving at Brother Walfrid’s statue on The Celtic Way (Paradise).
