Celtic FC Foundation’s Christmas Appeal beneficiary round-up

CELTIC FC Foundation’s Christmas Appeal is well underway and, following the culmination of our spotlight series, we are proud to present some background information on those benefiting from your support this festive season, as things stand.

We are still hopeful that we can add in several more beneficiaries between now and Christmas.

200 Local Families – Those who are facing poverty and disadvantage. To provide a happy Christmas for their children. A meal on the table and gifts for the kids. To keep the magic alive.

Glasgow East Women’s Aid – Christmas meal and gifts for families in the refuge. For more information, please click HERE

Glasgow Simon Community – We hosted a Christmas lunch for around 120 services users at Celtic Park on Sunday, December 6. For more information, please click HERE

Yorkhill Children’s Charity – Providing a Christmas gift for children living with long-term health conditions. For more information, please click HERE

Scottish Refugee Council – Supporting refugee families who have just arrived in Scotland, as well as other vulnerable or disadvantaged refugee families. For more information, please click HERE

Glasgow City Mission – Supporting the evening drop-in service, a lifeline for around 130 men and women each night, who are battling homelessness and in the middle of crisis. For more information, please click HERE

Loaves & Fishes – Christmas hampers for the homeless/those living in poverty. For more information, please click HERE

Spirit Aid – Christmas hampers for those in need in the West of Scotland. For more information, please click HERE

The Wayside Club Centre – A refuge and meal on Christmas Day for the homeless. For more information, please click HERE

The Invisibles – Support on the streets for the city’s homeless. For more information, please click HERE

Salvation Army, Parkhead – Provision of food, clothing, advice and other support for the homeless. For more information, please click HERE

For most of us, Christmas is a time of joy. It’s different for those facing poverty and hardship.

Our 2015 Christmas Appeal aims to make a genuine difference and support those who need it most.

But we can’t do this without you.
