Due to the success of our Club Couture Fashion Show events in 2009, 2010 and 2011, Celtic FC Foundation is delighted to announce the arrival of Celtic Charity Wonderland.
Our fashion show offering – which will be hosted by Scottish Actor, Martin Compston – will be taking on a new format and transforming into a festive extravaganza. It will take place in the Kerrydale Suite on Sunday, December 15 and includes:
– Cruise Catwalk Show Featuring First Team players (produced by Mary McGowne, The Vine PR & Events)
– Three-course meal
– Live entertainment
– Wonderland auction – ‘Money Can’t Buy’ items and experiences
– Wall Of Fame – exclusive items from sporting and entertainment greats
– Super-prized raffle
– Christmas Grotto to support CHAS and local children
Neil Lennon and the first-team squad have been a phenomenal support in previous years, and players who have taken to the charity catwalk in the past include Joe Ledley, Adam Matthews, Anthony Stokes and Charlie Mulgrew.
The main beneficiary of the event will be CHAS (Children’s Hospice Association Scotland), a charity that provides the only hospice services in Scotland for children and young people who have life-shortening conditions for which there is no known cure.
CHAS runs two children’s hospices, Rachel House in Kinross and Robin House in Balloch, and a home care service called CHAS at Home.
Celtic FC Foundation CEO, Tony Hamilton, said, “This is a very exciting period for Celtic FC Foundation and the Wonderland event is one of our key initiatives. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic night at a very special time of year and it’s fitting that we will be getting behind CHAS, a wonderful charity which provides incredible support to children and their families across Scotland. I know that the Celtic Family will make it a festive night to remember.”
