With Christmas now just over a week away, we continue to humbly encourage supporters to help us ‘Light Up Someone’s Christmas’ this year through our 2023 Christmas Appeal.

Celtic FC Foundation once again received incredible support from our friends at Ocean Scotland, who have generously donated the opportunity for us to promote our Christmas Appeal messaging throughout Glasgow, since the first week of the campaign.

Ocean Scotland operate some of the UK’s most prestigious out-of-home advertising locations and have been tremendous supporters of the Foundation for a number of years. And yet again, thanks to their wonderful donation of complimentary advertising space, screens at nine different locations have helped promote this year’s Christmas Appeal across the city.

Celtic FC Foundation Chief Executive, Tony Hamilton spoke of the support provided, saying: “I’d like to express our great thanks to Chris Trainer, Marc Keenan, and everyone at Ocean Scotland for their tremendous and continued support.

“Unfortunately, there are so many people out there who need our support this Christmas, so to once again be provided with this wonderful opportunity, has been truly invaluable in helping to share the message of our Appeal and encouraging fans to get behind us.

The Appeal aims to bring comfort and light up the lives of many who would otherwise struggle over the festive period.

This includes local families facing poverty, so they can enjoy the type of Christmas that many of us take for granted.

As well as pensioners, women and children in refuge, the homeless community and refugees and a host of others experiencing hardship.

Together, we can Light Up Someone’s Christmas this festive season.
