Club sponsors show support for Foundation Christmas Appeal

Celtic FC Foundation would like to thank club sponsors Dafabet, Magners and Intelligent Car Leasing, for the wonderful support shown to this year’s Appeal.

The Appeal kicked off on Monday, November 6 with a £10K donation from the club and, thanks to the tremendous backing of both Dafabet and Magners, the Celtic first team once again sported our Appeal logo and Football for Good branding on their shirts for the cinch Premiership 3-0 victory over Ross County on Saturday, November 4. These shirts were then auctioned in support of the Appeal.

In addition, Dafabet once again kindly provided a VIP matchday experience for 10 people in their private suite, for this year’s Christmas Appeal Prize Draw. Through the Prize Draw, we’re offering the chance for the winner and nine lucky guests to take in Celtic’s cinch Premiership encounter with Kilmarnock on Saturday, February 17, 2024 (fixture date subject to change). The draw closes at 12noon on Wednesday, December 20 and you can find out more and purchase your ticket HERE.

Intelligent Car Leasing have also generously got behind our activities across the season, having gifted their LED advertising space at Celtic Park again this season. During the festive period, this has provided us with a fantastic opportunity to promote the Christmas Appeal.

Tony Hamilton, Celtic FC Foundation Chief Executive spoke of the support received, saying: “Yet again, our club sponsors have shown tremendous support for our efforts through this year’s Appeal.

“Dafabet, Magners and Intelligent Car Leasing all continually get behind what we do here throughout the year in a variety of ways and their contributions to the Appeal have played a huge part, as we aim to help those most in need. Massive thanks to all involved for everything you do for the Foundation.”

Our 2023 Christmas Appeal aims to bring comfort and light up the lives of many who would otherwise struggle over the festive period.

This includes local families facing poverty, so they can enjoy the type of Christmas that many of us take for granted.

As well as pensioners, women and children in refuge, the homeless community and refugees and a host of others experiencing hardship.

Together, we can Light Up Someone’s Christmas this festive season.
