Celtic support Love Unites campaign this weekend

Ahead of Celtic’s cinch Premiership match this Saturday with Hearts, the first-team squad will be supporting adidas’ LOVE UNITES campaign by wearing an item from the new Tiro x Pride Collection during their warm-up.

These jerseys will also feature the logo of the Club’s official charitable arm, Celtic FC Foundation and, following the match, a selection of them will be signed by members of the first-team squad and made available to purchase online via the Celtic Store for charitable purposes.

This new adidas range was made available to pre-order HERE earlier today, and further information on how to get your hands on one of these unique signed Foundation branded jerseys will be available next week.

Made in collaboration with Australian artist Kris Andrew Small, known for his expressive and colourful work mostly centred on social issues and inequalities, the Tiro x Pride Collection has been created in solidarity and celebration of the LGBTQ+ communities past and present – creating a colourful and diverse graphic message across this inclusive collection with bold details of the LOVE UNITES campaign.

Following input from our wonderful friends at the Proud Huddle CSC, proceeds raised from the sale of the unique warm-up jerseys will be shared evenly between Celtic FC Foundation’s Christmas Appeal and LGBT Youth Scotland.

LGBT Youth Scotland works to ensure that young people’s lived experiences are understood and listened to by key decision makers.

Their goal is to make Scotland the best place to grow up for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex young people. They play a leading role in the provision of quality youth work to LGBTQ+ young people, promoting their health and wellbeing, and are a valued and influential partner in LGBTQ+ equality and human rights.

In addition to supporting the LOVE UNITES campaign this weekend, Celtic will also be backing Stonewall’s annual Rainbow Laces campaign by sporting the Rainbow Captain’s Armband during the match.

We offer our thanks to Club sponsor, adidas, for allowing Celtic FC Foundation and LGBT Scotland to raise funds through these unique Tiro x Pride warm-up jerseys and look forward to sharing further details shortly.
