Following the phenomenal success of our Sleep Out events in Sligo, Donegal, Derry and Bray in recent years, Celtic FC Foundation are delighted to announce that our ‘Celtic Sleep Out, Ireland’ event will return this year, as part of the annual Christmas Appeal.
The Irish Sleep Out will take place on Friday, November 13, at ‘The Meadows’ in County Carlow – home to St Patrick’s AFC in Graiguecullen, who have very generously offered to host us this year. The ground is a hugely important facility within the area, where young people can come together to play, develop their skills and build friendships, with St. Patrick’s placing a strong focus on grassroots football and local community.
As well as the magnificent support received from our hosts, the Sleep Out would not be possible without the incredible backing of our friends at The Association of Irish Celtic Supporters’ Clubs, as well a number of Supporters’ Clubs in Carlow and the surrounding counties, including Croppy Bhoys CSC Carlow, Laois CSC, Cill Droichead Bhoys CSC Kildare, North Kildare CSC and Kildare South CSC.
All we ask is that you commit to raising a minimum of £135/€157 (after the entry fee) in support of Celtic FC Foundation’s 2026 Christmas Appeal.

Due to anticipated wintry weather conditions, the event will be exceptionally challenging, both mentally and physically. Therefore, participants must be aged 18+ and in an appropriate physical condition to take part. Participants are required to bring the appropriate equipment and wear relevant clothing and footwear.
The Irish event joins the Celtic Sleep Out, Glasgow and London events, which were launched last month and will take place at Celtic Park on Saturday, November 14 and St. Anne’s Primary School on Friday, December 11.
Funds raised will support our 2026 Christmas Appeal, which reflects the very essence of why our Club was formed and the primary focus for monies raised through this event in Carlow will be to provide support directly in Ireland.
Through this year’s Christmas Appeal, we hope to assist families facing poverty, so they can enjoy the type of Christmas that many of us take for granted.
As well as pensioners, women and children in refuge, the homeless community, refugees and a host of others who would otherwise struggle at an especially challenging time of year.
So please help us make a difference to those most in need within our communities this Christmas.
