Celtic FC Foundation 9-in-a-row badges available now

IN honour of the Club’s incredible 9-in-a-row achievement, Celtic FC Foundation has now released its latest charity pin badge, with proceeds supporting our Football for Good Fund.

This unique badge is in the shape of the Number 9 and features Celtic FC Foundation’s logo, offering the perfect way for supporters to celebrate the historic feat in style.

The badges are exclusively available online via our charity eBay account which can be found HERE and are priced at £2 per badge, plus postage and packaging.

Proceeds from the sale of the badges will be devoted to our Football for Good Fund, which aims to assist the most vulnerable within our communities.

Thus far, a total of £450K has already been committed through the Fund. We have worked with a variety of local partners to provide urgent food and essentials to those in who are in greatest need.

Through our partnership with Glasgow North-East Foodbank, we also launched two projects – a free self-referral service providing food parcels for people living in Glasgow affected by the current COVID-19 crisis, as well a service providing food parcels to those who have been discharged from hospital – to ensure that they have access to food upon returning home.

We have worked in partnership with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) and Cathedral House to deliver 100 hot meals to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary every day for NHSGGC staff across all roles and wards.

In addition, we have supported two partner charities in New York, Coalition for the Homeless and Childrens Aid, to provide food and essentials to vulnerable children and families in the city.

Celtic FC Foundation Chief Executive, Tony Hamilton said: “We’re delighted to be able to offer supporters the chance to purchase our latest Celtic FC Foundation pin badges, via our eBay account.

“This particular badge is a very special one and pays tribute to what has been an outstanding accomplishment by the Club and I know that it will be hugely popular among our fans.

“The proceeds raised from the sale of these badges will also be invaluable towards supporting our Football for Good Fund, as we continue to assist so many people within our communities, whose lives have been adversely affected during these difficult times.”
