Hope Kitchen is a local charity that aims to serve Oban, Lorn and the Isles. It comprises of New Hope Community Hub and Café and Green Shoots Community Garden.

Providing a welcoming environment for all through food, friendship and fellowship, where people have the opportunity to exercise self-determination, make positive choices and maintain their independence.

“The festive period is the busiest time of the year for us at Hope Kitchen. As well as delivering over 400 hampers, we also provide 100 Christmas Dinners and we are open all over the Christmas period including Christmas day.

“Christmas is really hard for a lot of people, especially if they are on their own, if they have lost people close to them or if they are struggling financially. Celtic FC Foundation has really helped us in the past to make Christmas a special time for folk. The support provided has helped to provide gifts, food which has been distributed within the community and food that we have used to make our Christmas Dinners. We are really grateful for the wonderful support.”
