FOLLOWING the launch earlier this week of Celtic FC Foundation’s Christmas Appeal for 2015, fundraising efforts are well underway, kick-started by a generous £10,000 donation from the club.
There are lots of ways to get involved and play your part over the coming months with the upcoming Ghirls for Good ladies lunch event at Celtic Park one of the key dates in our annual fundraising calendar.
Sponsored by Enchanted Forest and Friends and hosted by Lisa Hague, the afternoon of fabulous festive fun takes place in the Kerrydale Suite at Celtic Park on Saturday, December 12 with arrival from 11.30am for 12noon.
On entry, you’ll receive a glass of fizz before enjoying a delicious Christmas lunch and with an auction, raffle and a visit from Santa Claus himself, we’ll ensure you’re entertained from start to finish.
It’s a fantastic day to kick-start your festive celebrations so gather the Ghirls and reserve your place now and play your part in supporting Celtic FC Foundation’s Christmas Appeal.
We are asking that every Ghirl attending brings along a gift for a child. These will then be distributed to local children who are sick or disadvantaged before the sleigh bells ring on Christmas Eve.

All funds raised will support our 2015 Christmas Appeal, which reflects the very essence of why our club was set up back in 1887.
The Appeal will help local families who face poverty and hardship and a number of charities who care for those experiencing the torment of homelessness or other disadvantage.
