The Football for Good Fund
In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Celtic FC Foundation launched our Football for Good Fund on Friday, March 20 to support those most in need.
What is the Football for Good Fund?
Since 1888, Celtic Football Club has symbolised the power of Football for Good.
In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Celtic FC Foundation launched our Football for Good Fund (FFGF) on Friday, March 20, 2020 to assist those most in need.
What Are We Doing?
The Fund has since risen to over £2 million, as we have focused on tackling three key issues – assisting those who are facing food and fuel poverty, and providing mental health support to those who need it most in Scotland, Ireland, the wider UK, and overseas.
Throughout the coming months, with your invaluable assistance, we aim to continue to ensure that support is available to the growing number of vulnerable people affected by the ruthlessness of COVID-19.
But we can’t do it alone.
We understand that many are concerned about their financial position at this time, and it is important to say, that supporters are urged to donate within their means. Any donation – big or small – will go a long way to help those in urgent need of assistance.
Together, we can continue to use Football for Good and make a difference to the lives of so many.
