CELTIC FC Foundation is delighted to announce that our annual Christmas Appeal Bucket Collection has raised a magnificent total in the region of £11k.

The collection took place both before and after Celtic’s 5-1 victory over Motherwell, at Celtic Park on December 2 and saw over 100 volunteers kindly give up their time to help.

Once again, the response from the Celtic support was immense as they backed the bucket collection in typically generous fashion.

All funds donated on the day have been devoted to our 2017 Christmas Appeal, which was launched at the end of October and reflects the very essence of why our club was set up back in 1887.

We want to help around 300 local families facing poverty, to provide a meal on the table and gifts for the kids. We want to bring the magic of Christmas to those homes. We are also looking to help vulnerable local pensioners to ease the financial burden at a challenging time of year, plus a number of other local charities who support those experiencing homelessness or other disadvantage.

But we can’t do this without you. So together, let’s Share the Spirit of Celtic this Christmas.
