WHEN Celtic drew 1-1 with Borussia Monchengladbach last night (Tuesday) in the UEFA Champions League, the team’s shirts carried the logo of Celtic FC Foundation due to restrictions on betting promotion in Germany.
Tony Hamilton, Chief Executive of Celtic FC Foundation, said: “Sincere thanks to Dafabet for allowing us this opportunity to have Celtic FC Foundation’s logo on the first team shirts for our UEFA Champions League match in Germany.
“We have just launched our Christmas Appeal so it’s hugely important that we continue to raise awareness of what we’re doing, who we’re helping and how people can play a part. Opportunities such as the one afforded by Dafabet are very helpful.”
John Cruces, Dafabet’s Head of Marketing Operations and Sponsorship, added: “We’re fully aware of the fantastic work the Foundation does both at home and around the world. As always we’re very happy to offer our support.”
