Don’t miss your chance to honour a football legend

WITH preparation for the Jock Stein 30th Anniversary Charity Match well underway, demand is proving high for the evening’s charity dinner, with only a limited amount of places remaining. The two events are being sponsored by Direct Slating Supplies.

The match will take place on Sunday, September 6 at East End Park (KO: 2pm) and will see a select squad of Celtic and Dunfermline Athletic Legends playing a match to commemorate the 30th anniversary of legendary manager, Jock Stein’s passing.

Following the match and beginning at 7pm, the Charity Dinner will take place at the Glen Pavilion in Dunfermline. In attendance, will be the majority of players from both squads together with other key figures from Jock Stein’s career as well as representatives from the Stein family.

The evening will include a drink on arrival, three-course meal, auction, raffle and Q&A with David Moyes, along with a number of our footballing greats.

With more names due to be announced, former Celts Tom Boyd, Stiliyan Petrov, Tosh McKinlay and Simon Donnelly have already pledged their involvement. You can join them for what promises to be a special evening to remember one of the most iconic managers in footballing history.

Tickets for the dinner are priced at £500 for a table of 10 or £50pp. To make a booking call Celtic FC Foundation on 0141 551 4321 or email [email protected]
