As many of us are in the throes of organising ourselves for Christmas and all that entails, supporters, volunteers and staff at Celtic FC Foundation are concentrating on the annual Christmas Appeal.

While most of us of reading this email will be frantically shopping in preparation for a day full of family, food, love, TV and ultimately gifts, a thought must be spared for those who will not spend this Christmas as we will. There are families, adults, old people, children and vulnerable adults who will have no one this Christmas. No money for a meal, let alone a Christmas dinner, no safe roof over their head or extra cash to buy gifts for those they care for – adults and children alike. For many people this is the reality of Christmas.

Our aim with your support is to alleviate some of the poverty and chaos which those in our community experience at this challenging time of year.  It is after all why this tremendous club was formed.

In this edition of the newsletter you will be able to read a tiny snippet of what is being done to try and help those in need over the festive season, you will also find ways to make a donation, if you can. What you read is only the tip of the iceberg of what is happening, and as always, we’d be delighted to hear from you if you wish to get involved.
