CELTIC FC Foundation is delighted to confirm that tickets for our 2014 Sporting Dinner are now officially on sale.
This has been a flagship initiative in the charity calendar for over 15 years and the 2014 event will take place on Thursday, March 27 in the Kerrydale Suite, here at Celtic Park.
It will be an evening of top-class entertainment with after-dinner speakers Willie Allan and Peter Brown, an auction and raffle hosted by Andy Cameron, silent auction and fantastic four-course meal.
We are exceptionally conscious of the continued challenges of the financial climate so the cost of the event has been held at the same level for the seventh year in a row – £800 for a table of ten or £80pp.
Celtic Charity recently joined forces with the Celtic Foundation and the charity is now known as Celtic FC Foundation. This means our enhanced remit includes direct delivery of social projects in our local communities.
The main beneficiary of the 2014 dinner will be our ‘Ability Counts’ project.Operating since 2011, this successful partnership programme between Celtic FC Foundation and Down’s Syndrome Scotland includes the provision of football and dance for children with Down’s Syndrome.
The programme won the 2012 People’s Choice Award at the Scottish Charity Awards.
