CELTIC FC Foundation are delighted to confirm BT Sport’s support of our Annual Sporting Dinner for the next two years.

This has been a flagship initiative in the charity calendar for over 20 years and the 2017 event will take place on Thursday, March 2 in the Kerrydale Suite, here at Celtic Park.

The Sporting Dinner sold out a number of months ago and this is a fantastic measure of the support we receive on an annual basis.

The evening will include an auction and raffle hosted by the inimitable Andy Cameron, silent auction and fantastic four-course meal. MC for the event will be Peter Martin.

And in this very special 50th Anniversary year, supporters will be treated to a Lisbon Lions Q&A segment.

The main beneficiary of the event will be our Inspiring Sport project which aims to positively impact the lives of those with a high level of support needs, focusing heavily on those with the most acute disabilities.

Delivered in partnership with Scottish Disability Sport, Inspiring Sport provides physical activity in sport for young people with severe and complex disabilities and also, working closely with all 13 Scottish Disability Sport branches across Scotland, offers a series of events and programmes with a focus on serious impairments.

Due largely to the support received from our Annual Sporting Dinner guests in 2015, Inspiring Sport has gone from strength to strength and further investment is now required to allow not only continuation of our existing provision but also development and extension of the project to help even more youngsters, who are so often excluded.
