Visit Celtic FC Foundation at this weekend’s Festival

As we get set for this weekend’s Celtic FC Festival, in association with Magners, staff at the club’s charitable arm are looking forward to engaging with the thousands of Celtic fans in attendance, across the three-day event. And we already owe you all a massive vote of thanks for so generously including a donation to the Foundation through your ticket purchases.

There will be plenty going on at Celtic FC Foundation’s stand, and the team will be on hand to tell you all about the work that we do through our project delivery.

Our priority is to provide assistance to the most disadvantaged and vulnerable children, young people and adults in our communities to improve Health, promote Equality, encourage Learning and tackle Poverty.

With 30 live projects across these four key areas, Celtic FC Foundation maintains a broad and concerted outreach and members of our team will be available to inform attendees about the range of support provided by the Foundation.

Festival goers will also have the opportunity to find out more about our upcoming fundraising events and initiatives.

One of which is Walfrid’s Wish, our regular giving scheme. Supporters will have the opportunity to sign up to the scheme and we will be running a special competition over the next week, open to both new and existing Walfrid’s Wish donors.

There will also be a small selection of Foundation specific items available to purchase at the stand. These include our VIII charity pin badge in celebration of eight-in-a-row, our special edition Foundation T-shirt and a limited edition Festival print, by renowned Scottish artist, Jim Scullion.

Further details on the Walfrid’s Wish competition and the Jim Scullion print are coming soon.

Festival attendees will also have the opportunity to support Celtic FC Foundation by making a donation. Buckets will be located at a number of the fun filled activities on offer and Foundation volunteers will also be on hand throughout the SEC.

It really is shaping up to be a wonderful weekend in celebration of all things Celtic!
