This evening, Celtic supporters John and Kathy Heaney will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, in the company of their nearest and dearest, here at Paradise.
While it is sure to be a night to remember, paying tribute to their wonderful life together, charity will also be at the forefront of the festivities, as the kind hearted couple have very generously invited their friends and family to make donations in lieu of gifts, to support the work of two charities close to their hearts – Celtic FC Foundation and Beatson Cancer Charity.
John and Kathy have insisted that, rather than receive anniversary gifts, a donation box will be in place at the party and guests can also donate online via Just Giving HERE.
Both charities are extremely grateful for the outstanding and humbling support of John and Kathy.
