MDH Recruitment Sponsor the Foundation’s ‘Celts in the Sahara’ Challenge

Celtic FC Foundation are delighted to announce MDH Recruitment as the official sponsor of our ‘Celts in the Sahara’ challenge.

MDH are recruitment specialists based in Glasgow and have a strong commitment to helping those within the local community. They have also recently taken on sponsorship of our Women’s team and we are delighted to now also welcome them as a Foundation partner.

Gordon Coyle, Managing Director of MDH Recruitment, teamed up with former Celts, Tom Boyd and Simon Donnelly at Celtic Park this week to officially launch the partnership. Tom and Simon will be joining Gordon and twelve others, including two other members of the MDH team, on this exciting trek.

‘Celts in the Sahara’ will take place between Thursday, February 15, and Wednesday, February 21, 2024. The group will trek approximately 32 kilometres over four days through the Sahara’s ever-changing terrain, which includes a climb to the top of the massive Chegaga Dunes.

Speaking of the challenge and the sponsorship, Gordon said: “I am really looking forward to the ‘Celts in the Sahara’ trek. I have a few team members and friends of MDH Recruitment who are taking part in this charity challenge with me. Although slightly apprehensive about our t-shirt tans, we are delighted to be sponsoring this event and supporting the Foundation.

“Celtic FC Foundation and MDH Recruitment have shared goals to assist families, children and individuals through personal crises, so we are acutely aware of the importance of supporting this wonderful cause, as a local company. Giving back to local communities is incredibly important to us at MDH Recruitment.”

Celtic FC Foundation would like to thank MDH Recruitment for their wonderful support.

Our ‘Celts in the Sahara’ trek is now fully subscribed but, if you would like to find out about future overseas challenges, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact [email protected] or call 0141 551 4321.
