Jersey John Clark and Tommy Burns CSC Raise Funds for The Foundation

On Saturday, June 17, the Jersey John Clark and Tommy Burns CSC once again held their annual end-of-season dance at the Radisson Hotel in St. Helier, with proceeds raised on the night devoted to Celtic FC Foundation and a number of local charities in Jersey.

Tommy Burns’ wife Rosemary was the guest of honour and was in attendance alongside former Celts Joe Ledley, John Hartson and Jackie McNamara, who entertained guests in a wonderful Q&A session.

Also joining fellow supporters was renowned Scottish artist and long term Foundation supporter, Gerard M Burns, who compèred the event, as well as John Farr, Major Donors Manager at Celtic FC Foundation, who spoke of the Foundation’s work and the importance of the support received.

A host of fantastic raffle prizes were on offer and the evening culminated in an auction, hosted by Gerard, with some wonderful prizes available, including his own limited edition ‘Glittering Prize’ print, signed by Lisbon Lions Bobby Lennox, John Clark, Jim Craig and John Fallon. A fantastic net total of £15,000 was raised on the night, which will be shared among the CSC’s chosen charities.

There was also significant representation from Celtic supporters based in Spain, Ireland, Scotland and England.

Celtic FC Foundation would like to express our thanks to the members of the Jersey John Clark and Tommy Burns CSC for their wonderful and continued support.
