As we approach the 136th anniversary of the Club, Celtic FC Foundation will once again launch their annual Christmas Appeal on Monday, November 6, 2023.
The Appeal aims to bring the magic of the festive season to children, families, pensioners, those in refuge, the homeless, refugees and others who are struggling at an especially challenging time of year.
Once again, the Appeal will consist of a host of fundraising initiatives and – although the campaign will officially launch on November 6 – there are a number of Appeal events which are already open for registration.
These include:
Celtic Sleep Out, Derry – Friday, November 17 – We are returning to Ireland with our Sleep Out event, which will this year take place at Celtic Park in Derry. Full details and information on how to register HERE.
Celtic Sleep Out, Glasgow – Saturday, November 18 – Our Glasgow Sleep Out event will take place at Paradise for the eighth time. Places are now extremely limited. Full details and information on how to register HERE.
Ghirls for Good – Friday, November 24 – Our festive extravaganza, sponsored by the Ellen Kane Trust and hosted by Edward Reid, will once again take place at Celtic Park’s Kerrydale Suite. Places are still available and you can register interest by emailing [email protected] or calling 0141 551 4321.
Christmas Appeal Bucket Collection – Saturday, November 25 – Like previous years, we are humbly requesting the backing of the Celtic support for our annual Bucket Collection, which will take place ahead of the cinch Premiership match against Motherwell. If you would like to join us on the day as one of our official volunteers, you can do so by emailing [email protected] or calling 0141 551 4321.
Celtic Sleep Out, London – Saturday, December 2 – St Anne’s Primary in Whitechapel will once again play host to our London Sleep Out event. Full details and information on how to register HERE.
Santa Stroll – Sunday, December 17 – Our Santa Stroll will return following the success of the inaugural event last year. Full details and information on how to register HERE.
Keep an eye out for plenty of other opportunities to get involved in the Appeal over the coming weeks.
So, please follow in the footsteps of Brother Walfrid and help us make a difference to those most in need within our communities this Christmas.
Thank you for your wonderful support.
