As we look ahead to the launch of our annual Christmas Appeal, Celtic FC Foundation are delighted to confirm that the Celtic first-team will once again sport our unique Appeal logo on the front of their shirts for Saturday’s cinch Premiership match against Dundee United – thanks to the incredible support and generosity of Club sponsors Dafabet and Magners.
These unique shirts will also include our ‘Football for Good’ branding on the reverse and each member of Saturday’s squad will sign their match worn or match issue shirt.
These will then be available to bid on via the Club’s official shirt auction partner, MatchWornShirt. Bidding will go live at kick-off (3pm on Saturday, November 5) and will close at 3pm on Sunday, November 13. Further details, including auction link, will follow once bidding is open.
In addition, captain, Callum McGregor will also sign one of the Christmas Appeal logo shirts which will then be kept aside for a free prize draw, and everyone who contributes to this year’s Appeal will be in with a chance of winning it.
Proceeds from the auction will support our 2022 Christmas Appeal. Through our Appeal, we want to give hundreds of families in our communities the Christmas they deserve, making sure there’s food on the table and gifts under the tree.
We also aim to help pensioners, women and children in refuge, the homeless community and refugees – as well as a whole host of others facing poverty and hardship.
Together, we can Share the Magic this Christmas.
Thank you for your magnificent support.
