As we look ahead to the 134th anniversary of the formation of our Club and the launch of the Christmas Appeal phase of our Football for Good Fund (FFGF) this weekend, we are delighted to confirm that the Celtic first-team will sport our unique Appeal logo on the front of their shirts for Sunday’s Cinch Premiership match against Dundee – thanks to the incredible support and generosity of Club sponsors Dafabet and Magners.
These unique match issue shirts will also include our ‘Football for Good’ branding on the reverse and a selection will be signed and made available via an online charity auction, through our eBay account, from Wednesday, November 10 to Monday, November 15. Full details will be provided early next week.
One of the Christmas Appeal logo shirts will also be kept aside for a free prize draw – and everyone who contributes to this year’s Appeal will be in with a chance of winning it.
Celtic FC Foundation Chief Executive, Tony Hamilton expressed his thanks, saying: “The success of the Christmas Appeal phase of the FFGF will be heavily dependent on the generosity of so many and yet again, the support shown to us by the Club’s official partners has been truly incredible.
“We thank everyone at both Dafabet and Magners, for gifting us this magnificent opportunity at Sunday’s match. The funds raised through the sale of these unique shirts will be vital in helping us to achieve our aims through this year’s Appeal.”
We want to give hundreds of families in our communities the Christmas they deserve, making sure there’s food on the table and gifts under the tree.
We also wish to help pensioners, women and children in refuge, the homeless community and refugees – as well as a whole host of others facing poverty and hardship.
We are a Club like no other, and together, we can brighten many lives this December.
Thank you for your magnificent support.
