Celtic FC Foundation are delighted to announce that Brendan Rodgers and members of the first team squad will be joined at our charity dinner at Notre Dame Stadium on Friday, July 26 by Celtic legends, Roy Aitken and Stiliyan Petrov.
‘The Bear’ started a 15-year career at Celtic as a 16 year old in 1975 and first captained the side in 1977. He made 672 appearances, scored 52 goals and won six league titles, five Scottish Cups and one Scottish League Cup.
During his seven year spell with Celtic, Stiliyan made 309 appearances, scored 65 goals and won the SPL four times and both the Scottish and Scottish League Cup three times each.
The Foundation event at Notre Dame will take place the evening before the first team take on Chelsea FC at the same venue as part of this summer’s USA pre-season tour.
As well as a Q&A featuring Stiliyan and Roy, the evening will include:
- Q&A sessions with Brendan Rodgers and three members of the first-team squad
- A spotlight on the work of Celtic FC Foundation
- Live charity auction
- Live music from Liam McGrandles
- Three-course meal and complimentary drinks
The event will take place in the Downes Ballroom and kick off at around 6.30pm with a drinks reception, followed by the main elements from 7.30pm. The dress code is smart casual.
Tickets are priced at $2,500 for a table of 10 or, on an individual basis at $250.
