Bow Foodbank operates two foodbanks, one in Bow and the other in Bethnal Green. Both centres provide emergency food supplies to those who are in crisis due to financial difficulties and aim to offer food to those in need, in a friendly and hospitable way, while not requiring a social work referral.

“We were so grateful to Celtic FC Foundation for the generous donation which was used to support families facing food poverty last Christmas. Sadly, the number of guests needing food has been rising in recent months and with the cost of living crisis biting over the winter months, there are so many in need. My fellow volunteers are committed to making sure nobody is alone in facing the crisis and we will give out thousands of food parcels over the Christmas period.
