On Friday, March 15, Glasgow University Celtic Supporters’ Club (GUCSC) held their 54th Anniversary Reunion Dinner at the Glasgow University Union, with net proceeds raised on the night devoted to Celtic FC Foundation.
Stephen Glancey, Chairman of Celtic FC Foundation hosted the evening’s events, where guests heard from former and current GUCSC members Austin Lally and Aiden Connor, keynote speakers Bernard Ponsonby and Brendan O’Hara, as well as Monsignor Conway who said Grace. The night was rounded off by a fantastic Q&A session with former Celtic Manager and Captain, Neil Lennon, which was hosted by Celtic FC Foundation Chief Executive, Tony Hamilton.
Fundraising on the night included a prize draw and an auction, with a magnificent net total in the region of £12,000 raised on the night, which will go towards the Foundation’s project delivery both at home and abroad.
