Celtic FC Foundation Christmas Appeal

For most of us, Christmas is a time of joy. But it’s different for those facing poverty and hardship.

That is why we are delighted to launch our 2015 Christmas Appeal, honouring our founding principles and helping those in our community who are most in need. 

To get behind the Christmas Appeal 2015, you can:

The generosity and compassion of the Celtic Family is unique and unsurpassed, and we are requesting your support once again for an Appeal which epitomises the very essence of our Club and truly honours the founding principles of Brother Walfrid.

This year, we aim to support the following:

  • 200 Local Families – Those who are facing poverty and disadvantage. To provide a happy Christmas for their children. A meal on the table and gifts for the kids. To keep the magic alive.

    Glasgow East Women’s Aid – Christmas meal and gifts for families in the refuge. For more information, please click HERE

    Glasgow Simon Community – We hosted a Christmas lunch for around 120 services users at Celtic Park on Sunday, December 6. For more information, please click HERE

    Yorkhill Children’s Charity – Providing a Christmas gift for children living with long-term health conditions. For more information, please click HERE

    Scottish Refugee Council – Supporting refugee families who have just arrived in Scotland, as well as other vulnerable or disadvantaged refugee families. For more information, please click HERE

    Glasgow City Mission – Supporting the evening drop-in service, a lifeline for around 130 men and women each night, who are battling homelessness and in the middle of crisis. For more information, please click HERE

    Loaves & Fishes – Christmas hampers for the homeless/those living in poverty. For more information, please click HERE

    Spirit Aid – Christmas hampers for those in need in the West of Scotland. For more information, please click HERE

    The Wayside Club Centre – A refuge and meal on Christmas Day for the homeless. For more information, please click HERE

    The Invisibles – Support on the streets for the city’s homeless. For more information, please clickHERE

    Salvation Army, Parkhead – Provision of food, clothing, advice and other support for the homeless. For more information, please click HERE
