CELTIC FC Foundation are delighted to announce details of our annual Badge Day bucket collection, taking place at the final home game of the 2015/16 SPFL season.
Organised in association with our Supporters’ Committee, Badge Day will take place pre-match for the game against Motherwell (KO 12:30pm) on Sunday, May 15, and we are asking supporters to make a minimum donation of £2 in return for a new and unique charity badge.
We are currently looking for around 120 volunteers to be in place at all turnstile areas and, as a small token of our appreciation, each individual will be provided with a complimentary match ticket. To register as a volunteer, please email [email protected] or call 0141 551 4373.
This year, Celtic FC Foundation launched a competition for children and young people between the ages of seven and 16 to design a badge inspired by their vision of Celtic, Charity and Football.
The competition was met with huge interest as youngsters showcased their artistic talent, and after a little help from club captain, Scott Brown, the winning entry has been selected and will be revealed shortly.
Celtic FC Foundation’s ethos is to create opportunities and promote wellbeing for the most marginalised and disadvantaged people within our communities and we have a strong track record of delivering successful community-based projects across our four key areas. In doing so, we concentrate on four key areas – Health, Equality, Learning and Poverty. Think HELP.
